Jawan Of Vellimala - Mammootty's latest Malayalam movie which got released today (19-10-2012) all over in Kerala. In this movie, Mammooty plays the role of a retired Military Officer who is having eye sight for one of his eyes. Gopi Kishnan, Name of Mammootty's character in the movie, He comes to Vellimala after his voloundary retirement as a service man at the Vellimala Dam. The movie is directed by Anoop Kannan, and its produced by Mammooty himself under the banner of Playhouse.

Jawan of Vellimala tells the story of Gopi Krishnan, People of Vellimala, and about the Dam situated in Vellimala.
